We started publishing books, maps and periodicals 20 years ago, believing that paying attention to international issues matters, and there is no larger international issue than the health of this planet. There is no reason all magazines - not just those focused on environmental issues - cannot be published sustainably. While we realize that our small company’s efforts will not reverse global warming or staunch humanity's relentless depletion of natural resources, we hope that our example demonstrates that even a small company with limited resources can, through research and commitment, make the changes necessary to operate in an environmentally responsible manner.
