Promotions

On top of helping magazines switch to recycled paper, the Better Paper Project also promotes magazines that have already made a commitment to eco-friendly production practices. Prerequisites for participation in all our promotions are the use of environmentally responsible paper and maintenance of an accurate and up-to-date profile on www.BetterPaper.org.

For further instructions on how to sign up or to inquire about putting a Better Paper Promotion in your store, please contact Project Coordinator, Keaty Gross (T: 202 872 5364, E: Keaty@GreenAmericaToday.org)

The Better Paper Project has secured space in Atlanta and San Francisco airport bookstores for a special promotion of recycled paper magazines during the busy travel months of November and December. We are also working on airport promotions to coincide with Earth Day in April 2010, so keep this in mind when preparing your retail marketing plan for the year ahead!

Retailer Commitment: This custom promotion will include a cash-wrap in nine of the largest bookstores in the Atlanta airport and in Compass Books in the San Francisco International airport. Magazines will be in a cash-wrap position in each of the ten participating locations for the last two months of the year, along with being prominently displayed in a lightbox for the month of December. The lightboxes will advertise that the participating magazines are printed on recycled paper.
